Happy Friday everyone! I wish I was hanging out with my friends but alas I am here at work. It’s raining out so I guess I’ll take that. Hopefully the rest of the night flies by because I’m kinda over being at work. But my new team is awesome. I do miss my old team at work but I’m opening up and change isn’t always a bad thing.
Anyway, on to my usual Friday post: my friend of the week. This week the winner is Calla. Calla and I went to college together- I was a year older and we met when I started dating her ex boyfriend. We hit it off immediately. Calla even stayed around last summer and we partied and worked all summer. It was pretty perfect, I’m not gonna lie. But Calla graduated this past spring and moved to work in an Art Gallery in Chicago. Which is great for her but sucks for me because I lost the person that I did pretty much everything with. Plus, our work schedules have been different so we haven’t been able to talk a whole lot. This week that changed. I’m still waiting on her email response but it’s nice to catch up. She’s even meeting me in Wisconsin next week so that we can hang out and catch up and so that I have someone to go to the fair with. Which is super awesome.
I hope Calla will decide to move back to Iowa so that we can get a place together and get it to all sorts of mischief again. And then we can have a super girly apartment. Fingers crossed.
