“Highway Don’t Care” by Tim McGraw

And it’s the start of another week. Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Anyway, without further adieu, the song of the week. The song doesn’t really relate to my life at this exact moment. But it did a little while ago. If you’ve been reading my post then you’re aware of this.

Anyway, perhaps I should fill you all in on what’s been going on in my life lately. There was a contest at work the past five weeks. The top 25 teams in the company competed to see who could be better, so everything was judged on how much you improved. And we ended the night last Thursday in 2nd place- which means the entire team won 60 inch flat screen TV’s. But when we came in on Friday we found out we were actually #1- which means that we all won a trip for 4 to Southern California- with the company paying for everything. There were still a few reports out so we won’t officially be crowned the winners and find out until tomorrow. But we’re either going to be in first or second place. Which is pretty awesome either way you look at it.

Anyway, here’s a little Tim McGraw for your Monday.

Bet your window’s rolled down and your hair’s pulled back
And I bet you got no idea you’re going way too fast
You’re trying not to think about what went wrong
Trying not to stop ’til you get where you goin’

The highway won’t hold you tonight
The highway don’t know you’re alive
The highway don’t care if you’re all alone
But I do, I do.
The highway won’t dry your tears
The highway don’t need you here

I hope your week will be amazing. I’ll keep all you posted on which prize I’ll be receiving! Plus I’m going home in a few days so I know my week will be wonderful.

xoxo
