The President of Pop

So I know I’m a little late to jump on the Justin Timberlake bandwagon after the 2013 VMA’s but it seems like people are either talking about Miley Cyrus or Justin so I decided to pick the better of the two.

In case you haven’t seen the performance…

It gave me chills to say the least. He has been around so long and proves, unlike Miley, that you can reach stardom at a young age and continue to be a good role model throughout adulthood. [I have no intention to hate on Miley, I actually really like her song but disagree with some of the choices she has made. A good article that I read on the topic here].

To be honest, growing up I was more of a Backstreet Boys fan than one of N’Sync but no one can deny the impact Justin Timberlake has had on music for over a decade. Not only that, but he has inspired countless others to follow their dreams (whether we wanted them to or not. read: One Direction and The Wanted, just to name a couple.)

Anyway, I’ll cut this one short because the 15 minute video speaks for itself but here’s to hoping for more Justin’s- even though no one will ever be able to replace him.
