Happy Friday ya’ll! I hope everyone is enjoying their (hopefully) long weekend!! I know I am. It’s even better when I get to enjoy it with close friends.
This Friday I had to honor one of those friends that I’ve known for a long time. Not quite as long as Katie, but longer than anyone else who has been a Friday Friend of the Week thus far. Spencer and I met my sophomore year of college and he was a senior. Spencer had a house and a dog- two things that are pretty when you’re an underclassman. Spencer and I bonded over a guy on the baseball team with him that was treating me like crap. Our friendship after for the next six months would be on a good day be considered rocky. After about six months I told Spencer to delete my number and never talk to me again (yeah, it was that bad).
About a year and a half later Spencer and I started talking again and I consider him my best guy friend. We talk almost every single day and hang out probably 3 weekends a month. He even set my younger sister up with her boyfriend. Needless to say, Spencer and I have come a long way.
