Happy Monday, readers. Yesterday I was feeling lazy after the holiday weekend and decided to just kick it at home and watch some movies. I watched two movies and six episodes of The Wonder Years while I did some laundry. Both movies started the VERY handsome Douglas Booth [aka my new man crush]. The second movie was LOL starring Miley Cyrus. It wasn’t amazing but it did remind me of my own movie as well as my life in high school. My relationship with my mother and my boyfriend weren’t the same but the story line was decent. Mainly, it was a coming of age story- which is exactly the same as my film. Like most coming of age films, it dealt with love and sex and well, yeah, enough about my movie and more about my life. Let’s be honest, that’s why you’re reading this anyway.
In case you didn’t know; the movie I made (Winning #3) is based on my senior year of high school. It actually reminded me of this film except with a lower budget and everything that comes with that. Which really means that I should submit my film to Netflix. I feel like that would be a great way to get my name out there. Plus then I’m get on IMDB and that would be a great start to my career. Ok, that’s the goal. Look in to what I need to do to get that submitted and send the cast their copies. I need a cover for the film- anyone know any good designers?
I’ve decided to take more charge of everything in my life and go after what I want. Dreams don’t work if you don’t work. I have goals and it’s time I take them off of the back burner and really start cooking.
