Here’s to Friday! This Friday I had to honor a lady who is beyond amazing (and who’s birthday it is today)!! We live in the same town but lately our schedules have been so different that we haven’t been able to see each other much.
Kacie and I met when we worked together bartending. Neither one of us work there now but our friendship has survived. The reason this lovely lady wins friend of the week is because we finally hung out Saturday night (see picture insert) and I got a little messed up but she was there for me and drove me to hang out with other people- so obviously I payed for her drinks and food when we went out after the bar.
I know I can always count on Kacie; when my car died she and her boyfriend came and helped me push it home (it was only about 250 feet but still!) and when things go wrong in my life she’s there for me. Of course I’m there for her too, this totally isn’t one-sided! But I wanted to let her know this week how much I really value her friendship!
