Happy Sunday everyone! I know this post was supposed to come out on Friday but I was driving to Chicago to see my bestie. It was a hot drive in a car with no air conditioning once I got in to Chicago traffic. But I’m still alive so everything worked out.
I missed that girl so much. Usually when I go to Chicago we try to get lots of shopping and bar hopping in. This weekend was different. We made an appearance at a birthday party and then went out for sushi followed by making rice krispee treats with peanut butter chips and watched our favorite TV show (Gossip Girl) the rest of the night. Then Saturday we hit the beach, went to lunch, walked around and went back to watch Gossip Girl and called it a night. And it was amazing. It reminded me of college…with a little less drinking.
She wants me to move to Chicago. I would love that because I hate driving in to Chicago because the traffic is terrible. We also talked about her moving to the suburbs. Which may be more doable for me. I love visiting the city but I doubt I could live there for an extended period of time. But you never know….maybe a move should be in my future….
